Protection of personal data

Your privacy is paramount to us. Therefore, we keep your data really private and we will only use it to process your order. To be able to process an order it is necessary that we store data in our secure database. We do not share data with third parties other than those directly involved in processing an order.

What information do we need from you, and for what purpose?

First and last name
For good communication and order processing, it is important that we know who the person is who ordered and/or to whom the order is addressed.

Address and residence
We need your address details in order to deliver the package to the correct address.

Company name & VAT number
To be able to keep a proper VAT administration for our business orders, it is important that we have the company name and the corresponding VAT number.

Phone number(s)
It may be that something is unclear about your order or that something is not correct. In this case we can also contact you by phone. Your phone number will NOT be used for marketing purposes!

Email address
We will only use your email address to inform you about your order, or to answer questions and/or comments. When you have signed up for our newsletter you will receive it on the e-mail address you provided. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters you can easily unsubscribe by clicking on 'Unsubscribe' at the bottom of the newsletter. We will never send you an unsolicited offer and/or newsletter!

Payment details
For the online payment of orders we use external Payment Service Providers (PSP) such as PayPal and Mollie Payments. As soon as you choose the desired online payment method you will be forwarded directly to the secure payment environment of the PSP. The processing of the payment thus takes place on the secure servers of the PSP in question. We do not store any credit card and/or payment details in our system. We only receive a payment reference from the PSP and a status update of the payment. This enables us to check in our system whether the payment has been completed correctly.

IP address
Unfortunately, not everyone on the Internet is a bona fide citizen. That is why our system stores your IP address and visit times, so that we can better detect, investigate and prevent possible fraud.

Order history
As a web shop we have an administration and retention obligation towards the tax authorities. This means that we must keep the details of orders. This has the advantage that at a later time you can always see what you previously ordered.

Furthermore we use your data for:

Customer service
You can call and mail with us and to ensure that we can look back at a later time what has been communicated we save messages and / or notes.

Account
In your 'My Account' environment you can find your personal information such as name, delivery and billing address, phone number, login details and order history. You can change your own data here and download an invoice if you wish.

Newsletters
You can subscribe to our newsletter. For this it is necessary that you select this option yourself or subscribe via the form on our website. Our system will never automatically or 'secretly' check the box for you! When you have signed up for our newsletter you will receive it at the e-mail address you provided. If you do not want to receive any more newsletters you can easily unsubscribe yourself by clicking 'Unsubscribe' at the bottom of the newsletter. We will never send you an unsolicited offer and/or newsletter!

Fraud (prevention)
Unfortunately, in a few cases we have to use customer data to investigate, prevent and combat (possible) fraud. If there is a clear case of fraudulent activity then we are forced to hand over the data to the relevant government agency or agencies.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how and when visitors use our webstore. The IP addresses remain anonymous. The retention period for visitors and events in Google Analytics is 26 months after the last activity of the visitor.

Inspection and amendment of your data

Would you like to view your personal data? Or would you like to change or delete data from our system? No problem. You can do this yourself via your 'My Account' environment or submit a request to us by post or e-mail.
